Special numbers and services with higher charges that may apply when roaming in the EU

Dear customers, we would like to point out that the following types of services incur higher costs when roaming in the EU:

1) Dutch special numbers

Special numbers from the Netherlands may cause higher costs when used from other EU countries. For example:
  • Information and Service Numbers: 0800…; 09XY… (e.g. 0906…; 0909…); 18XY… (e.g. 1819…)
  • Company Numbers: 088…
  • Non-geographical Numbers: 085… and 091…
  • Municipal Numbers: 14XYZ (e.g. 14020 Amsterdam)
  • European Social Services: 116XZY (e.g. 116000 for missing children)
  • Satellite: 0088…
  • Personal Assistant Services: 084… and 087…
  • Mobile Data Numbers: 097…

2) Foreign special numbers

The use of foreign special numbers is associated with higher costs in other EU countries . These depend on the respective foreign network operator/roaming partner.

3) Freephone numbers in the Netherlands

It is true that these are not usually priced in other EU countries or in the Netherlands. It can not be ruled out that individual higher costs will nevertheless be incurred. These are:
  • Freephone numbers: 0800 (national) and 00800 (international)
